I’m 168cm tall, weight is 50kg, planning on getting a mini boob job, as having my first child got my small 34A sized breast a bit saggy, due to my job cannot go for partiality under muscle placement, opting for subglandular placement. Been to a consultation and the doctor said due to my chest parameters I can’t go smaller than a 240-270cc, where I find it too big for my liking. My question is, can I can one size increase, without having such big implants?

Answer: Implant size Implant selection is best done in person as your surgeon has had the benefit of examining you, taking your measurements, and discussing your surgical goals. You can elect to have a smaller implant with a lower profile, but it may not give you the desired result. That is where you surgeon comes in. She/He is the expert in assisting you in selecting the best implant for you. If you are uncomfortable with the recommendation it is always a good idea to get a few opinions from board certified plastic surgeons near you.

Answer: Implant sizing Choosing the implant size can be one of the hardest decisions with breast augmentation. Every plastic surgeon has their own method to pick the correct implant size with their patients. The choice of implant is determined by combining your goals for size and the appearance of the breasts with a detailed assessment of your height/weight, breast dimensions, and chest width. In your case, you can go smaller with the implants. It will generally take 150-200 cc to increase one cup size. Your surgeon may be recommending larger implants because your chest width is larger or to better correct the sagging of the breasts.
